*Services Offered*
Prenatal Massage- (Therapist is specifically certified for
Prenatal/ Postpartum Massage /Fertility.) Works to relax
expectant mothers while working on the common areas that need
additional attention due to pregnancy discomfort like: sciatica,
low back tension and pain, upper and mid-back tension and pain
and hip region just to name a few. We also work using lymphatic
drainage to eliminate and/ or reduce edema (swelling) in the
limbs.
Postpartum Massage-We target the areas that are most affected
by your new bundle of joy's feeding schedule. Keeping your
muscles lengthened and free of tension will allow your body
to recover more quickly keeping you physically comfortable
during your postpartum period. You will also gain pre-pregnancy
posture or better by lengthening muscles that create the
well known c-posture during pregnancy. (Results will vary
based on frequency of treatment)
Deep Tissue-(for men/ women) Works deeper into the muscle
tissue allowing for relaxation with light release of tight and
shortened muscles. Increase in circulation will leave you feeling
both at ease and revived when done.
Neuromuscular Therapy-(for men/ women) These sessions are
purely for muscle release and lengthening. Great for unlocking
your shoulders, releasing adhesions that restrict muscle
movement and range of motion, pain management, migraines
and carpal tunnel just to name a few. This session is a clinical
one and does not offer relaxation but does offer relief. (Results
will vary due to frequency of treatment and at home
maintenance.)
Infant/ Newborn Massage- (Great for colic) This is an
instructional session that shows parents or caregivers the proper
techniques that allow you to maximize the benefits of each
bonding massage. You will be taught how to help your beautiful
bundle of joy stay gas free, help relieve constipation through
light palpation (massage technique),train your baby to know
when it's time to go to sleep and relax them enough to achieve
a full, deep sleep. Through massage, you will awaken the
nervous system which has been medically credited in assisting
them reach their milestones sooner/ on-time. Most of all, you
will support a close and trusting relationship between you and
your new gift.
